Architectural
transformation of a rooftop apartment in Copenhagen. The attic space was opened
up to the roofline to create a light-filled integrated open living space with
strong architectural details complementing original features. A new rooftop
terrace was added in the roofline and a smaller one adjacent to the kitchen. A
dramatic spiral staircase in glass-blasted steel with yellow-plated zinc finish
works almost as an art piece linking the two floors. Dinesen Heart Oak planks
are used for floors and custom-made built-ins. SDT’s PLATE kitchen for Reform
is used for kitchen cabinets and floor-to-ceiling wardrobes.
