DONUM HOME 

Located in the Sonoma County wine region and home to a monumental sculpture collection, one of the leading Californian Pinot Noir producers—The Donum Estate—commissioned David Thulstrup to reconfigure Donum Home: a space for wine tasting, dining, and entertainment. Studying the impressive Californian landscapes, David Thulstrup introduced simplistic and honest architectural interventions that allow the art and the wine to articulate. The design language expresses simplicity, functionalism, and a sense of calmness. Three tasting rooms and a range of custom furniture pieces have been added to enable coherence between objects and space while fostering a sense of holism from the inside-out.
