PETER’S HOUSE
Copenhagen, Denmark2015
A new home for the renowned photographer Peter Krasilnikoff built within three raw brick walls of an old warehouse and employing a refined play of industrial materials – concrete, heart oak planks and blackened steel. Much admired for its liveability, Peter’s House is built around a central mirror-clad atrium, which floods all three floors with natural light and is lush with grasses, plants and a feature alder tree. Offsetting the raw materiality are 4 metre long heavy velvet drapes and brightly upholstered furnitures classics.
