DINESEN & GARDE HVALSOE

A combined showroom for Dinesen and Garde Hvalsøe with a richly decorated space in a heritage apartment building in Aarhus, Denmark. The original features of the hand-painted glass ceilings and dark woodwork is contrasted with David Thulstrup’s contemporary design language and choice of elements, including a monumental staircase made completely in Dinesen Douglas wood.
