COLLAGE ILLUM

Interior concept and customized fittings for a multi-brand luxury menswear store in Illum department store. Clean lines and an almost monochromatic color palette, that allows the clothes in focus. Three existing columns became part of a series of scaled-up blocks, to express architectural and spatial navigation. Custom pieces include, sandblasted aluminum tables up to six meters long, metal boxes, engraved with the brand name and concrete seating cubes. Lighting panels and ceiling ventilation pipes engage a relationship between the design features by David Thulstrup and the original stucco.
