Studio David Thulstrup – an architecture, interior and design studio based in Copenhagen is looking for a Project Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

We are an international team of architects, interior and products designers who work together to develop and complete David Thulstrup’s creative vision in the fields of hospitality, retail, residential and product design. Our clients are international, and the projects vary from smaller residential projects to large-scale projects – from 180sqm up to 50,000 sqm.

Most projects encompass international work relations with clients, local architects, and contractors. Currently we are working in the US, Faroe Islands, France, Switzerland, United Kingdom and Denmark. Therefore, both local and international project experience is seen as advantageous.

You are a Project Coordinator with a degree in business and economics. You have 5 years of professional experience in a similar role - preferably within an architecture office.

As Project Coordinator you will be an important link between David and the studios’ project leaders regarding; overview management and planning of scope, resources, time, and project fee for each individual project within the entire project portfolio, as well as making relevant reports for management.  You will support the project leaders and prepare project timelines, resource planning & milestone plans.

Together with the projects leaders you will define objectives and priorities into process steps to meet the scope of the projects. You will measure deliverables against time and budget, analyze and evaluate results. In close corporation with David, you will be responsible for the studio financial controlling, including budget allocation and forecast, follow-up on sales and consumption, as well as strategic budget planning in relation to the studio's future growth.

We would like you to join us full-time at our office in Copenhagen as soon as possible.

  • Preparation of project scope of work, project timelines, resource planning, milestone plans     and project budgets.
  • Contract writing and negotiations with clients, including dispute management.
  • Contract control - linking contract to scope, phases, and deliverables both internally and externally
  • Optimizing the use of the project management tool EazyProject with consistent project reporting.
  • Preparation of forecasts and deviation solutions based on ongoing project budgets.
  • Studio financial reporting and controlling the monthly overview, including budget analysis, presentations, and strategic budgeting.
  • Ongoing development and improvement of project management tools and reporting, budget control models and management reporting.

  • 5 years of project coordinating within business administration preferably at an architecture office.
  • Detail oriented, analytical, and structured.
  • Always focused on delivering overview and insight.
  • Ability to understand design processes to successfully gather and understand requirements to drive projects to completion with exceptional results.
  • Meeting new tasks with initiative and an explorative attitude.
  • A team player, delivering solid results in collaboration with others and solution orientated.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and manage time.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as fluency in both English and Danish.
  • Advanced Excel skills, with knowledge of project management systems and accounting programs
  • Eazyproject + Microsoft Suite skills are a requirement
