Part of the annual Frost Festival, the Light Therapy bar combined the usual socialising, music and imbibing with high doses of mood-enhancing light. The main conceptual themes were illusion, reflection, repetition and contrast – minimal, architectural columns were juxtaposed against playful textiles. The ambition was to raise awareness about how light affects our well-being and show that architecture, design and social activities can recharge our batteries in the long, dark winters.
