PRODUCT DESIGNER 

2023

We are an international team of architects, interior and product designers working together to execute David Thulstrup's creative vision in the areas of Hospitality, Retail, Residential and Product Design. David Thulstrup has completed an extensive portfolio of local and international projects with currently active projects in France, South Korea, UK, USA and Denmark. Amongst many awards, David has received the Wallpaper* Design Award 2023 for ‘Best New Restaurant’ for Ikoyi and was selected as one of Architectural Digest’s 100 Influencers.

Working closely with David Thulstrup on his visions and direction through product design, you will be responsible for developing new inspiring designs that will stand the test of time, and with a strong attention to materiality. A sensibility towards materials, form and how product design applies to our understanding of space is important.
As important is your ability to work independently, controlling processes with efficiency. It is essential that you have experience from past jobs, running and completing processes from first ideas and visualization, to drawings, prototyping, to final product, and that you can liaise with producers and suppliers where demands of quality sometimes must be pushed forward.
As well as the focus and branch of product design, we want you to join forces with the rest of the project team. Assistance with product specifications on a variety of interior and architectural projects are essential, as David’s vision gathers architecture, interior and product design into a holistic approach.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years work experience
• You have worked with the different phases of product development
• You are detail oriented and structured
• You have strong conceptual and design skills
• You have substantial knowledge for materials, furniture and textiles
• You have experience with Rhino and SolidWorks
• You have worked with plan solutions and implementation of design and products
• You can work on several projects simultaneously
• You are focused on delivering and maintaining an overview
• You encounter new tasks with encouragement and curiosity
• You are a team player, solution-oriented and good at delivering strong results in collaboration with a team
• You can work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced company as well as plan your own time and meet deadlines
• You are fluent in English verbal and written
